How did you get into nutrition?

General healthy eating, eating disorders, disordered eating, intuitive eating, and improving relationship with food

I graduated from Syracuse University with a business degree and started working for an online retail company after graduating. For as long as I can remember, I have always had a passion for nutrition, cooking, exercise and overall wellness. While working at my old job, I was cooking and reading nutrition articles and blogs on the side. Soon after, I realized nutrition was my true passion and I wanted to go back to school to pursue a career in the field.

HOW WOULD YOU DESCRIBE YOUR COUNSELING STYLE?

When I’m not working, I enjoy cooking new recipes, going on long walks outside, going to a pilates class, trying new restaurants with family and friends and exploring new places or cities.

My counseling style is empowering, direct and compassionate. My approach to nutrition is unique to each individual using science-backed information with the goal of improving one’s relationship with food and their body.
