About Dana

Dana’s journey to becoming an RD came after witnessing a close friend’s battle with an eating disorder. This experience had a profound impact on Dana, leading her to want to help others develop a healthy and peaceful relationship with food and their bodies through nutrition counseling. Before joining the Culina Health team, Dana gained valuable experience working as an inpatient dietitian at NewYork-Presbyterian
Westchester Behavioral Health Center.

Counseling Style

Empathetic, gentle, and supportive, Dana takes a non-diet, HAES (health at every size) approach to
counseling. She uses evidence-based practices and a client-centered approach to help patients meet their goals. Dana values collaboration and acknowledges that there is no one-size-fits-all solution to nutrition care. This allows her to create individualized plans that align with her clients’ lifestyles, preferences, and goals.
