How did you get into nutrition?

General healthy eating, relationship with food and disordered eating, intuitive eating, pre-diabetes and diabetes, heart health and cardiovascular disease, gastrointestinal disorders, and oncology

I was on a nursing path during undergrad, which required me to take nutrition classes as well. I started to develop an interest in dietetics. I was particularly inspired when I realized the impact that an RD could have, and how they can really get to know their patients.

What does your ideal day off look like?

How would you describe your counseling style?

My counseling style is attentive, patient, and empathetic. I am dedicated to optimizing my patients’ long-term health while helping them feel their best, through empowering them to invest in healthy, sustainable nutrition and lifestyle choices.

On my ideal day off, you'll find me at home in my favorite jammies snuggled up with my cat and a hot cup of coffee on hand, watching reruns of Sister, Sister or Full-House. Doesn't get any better than that!
