How did you get into nutrition?

General healthy eating, weight loss, diabetes and pre-diabetes, postpartum nutrition, and pediatric nutrition

My love for fitness and food got me into the nutrition field. I never exercised until I joined the military, and then I developed a love for fitness. After having my daughter, I learned how proper nutrition could help me lose the baby weight and get back to feeling good again. It started as a hobby but evolved into a career. I felt like I had the lived experience and then got the background to teach it to others.

When I'm not working I enjoy exercising at the gym or outdoors, cooking and spending time with my family. I also enjoy traveling and fellowship with my church family.
