Beet Berry Smoothie
If you’ve never tried fresh beets in a smoothie, consider this your invitation! With raspberries and blueberries for added flavor and vitamin C, and whole-milk yogurt for healthy omega-3 fatty acids, our anti-inflammatory beet berry smoothie tastes like summer in a glass.

- 1/2 cup raspberries
- 1/2 cup blueberries
- 1/3 cup coarsely grate red beet, lightly packed (can use pre-spiralized beets as well)
- 1 tbsp hemp or flax seeds
- 1 tbsp honey
- 2 tsp fresh lemon juice
- 1/2 cup plain whole-milk yogurt; more as needed (can use coconut yogurt)
Put the raspberries, blueberries, beet, hemp or flax seeds, honey, lemon juice, yogurt, and 1/4 cup ice-cold water in a blender.
Blend on low speed, and slowly increase to high speed; blend until smooth, about 30 seconds.
Add ice-cold water as needed to thin the smoothie to your desired thickness.
Serve immediately.
