Superfood Hot Cocoa
(GF, Vegan)

- ½ cup of water
- 1 cup of plant milk I used almond milk
- 1 tablespoon organic cacao powder
- 2 teaspoons organic maca powder
- 2 tablespoons 100% pure maple syrup
- ½ teaspoon pure vanilla extract
- ¼ teaspoon ground cinnamon
- ¼ teaspoon ground nutmeg
- ¼ teaspoon organic ground turmeric
- Pinch of sea salt
Heat a small saucepan on medium heat.
Add in plant milk of choice, as well as the water, and let that heat up for about 2 minutes.
Add in the rest of the ingredients, and mix thoroughly to avoid clumping. Using a whisk works best.
Continue to stir occasionally over medium to low heat for about 2-3 more minutes.
Transfer to a mug, top with desired toppings, and enjoy!
Optional Toppings:
- All natural marshmallows
- Home-made coconut or regular whipped cream
- Shaved dark chocolate
