Growing up, I struggled with body image issues, which deeply impacted my relationship with food and self-confidence. During my adolescent years, I decided to channel my energy into learning about nutrition, determined to better understand the connection between food, health and well-being. As I delved into the science of nutrition and energy, I discovered a passion for how the body works and how food fuels it.
This journey not only helped me heal my relationship with food but also transformed my perspective on health. It inspired me to pursue a career as a dietitian so I could empower others to take control of their health, find balance and develop positive relationships with food. My mission is to lead people on their unique paths to make healthy choices that support both their physical and mental health, while still being able to enjoy the foods they love.
I was born into an Italian, pasta and bread loving family and there was a time in my life that I felt disconnected from my culture and family due to my own internal struggles. I am here to show you that you can find ways to incorporate the foods you love into a healthy, balanced diet.
I have 2+ years of experience working at an endocrinology clinic supporting people living with diabetes, obesity, PCOS and other autoimmune disorders.
Go-to morning beverage: Soy milk hazelnut latte
Sleep ritual I never forget: Magnesium supplement, white noise and a good book!

Favorite book/TV show/movie: The Parent Trap
What’s one small thing someone can do today to work toward a balanced eating pattern/lifestyle? Don’t overcomplicate it! Aim for each meal to have a healthy source of fat, protein and fiber rich carbohydrates. This will give you sustained energy and decrease the chances of making less healthful decisions later in the day.
Nutrition philosophy in a nutshell: Learning how to form a healthy diet that supports your mind, body and spirit takes time. It is unique to you and may not look like what works for other people in your life. You may take 2 steps forward and then 3 steps backwards and that is okay.
If you are searching for a magic pill, fad diet, cleanse, fast, detox, etc. to reach your goals, then let me hold your hand while I say this: results come from forming sustainable habits which take time, trial and error, consistency, trust in yourself, and commitment to learning and loving yourself. It isn’t easy but it is possible. Let me teach you how!
Nutrition myth or trend you find particularly annoying and would like to set the record straight: Carbohydrates are not the enemy and the keto diet is usually not the answer.
