Wellness Workdays Dietetic Internship

Background

Growing up, Laura’s family gatherings centered around delicious food and a bustling kitchen. On a whim she signed up for an undergrad nutrition class and knew after the first day she needed to pursue a degree in dietetics. Pairing creativity in the kitchen and the science of nutrition brought peace to her right brained, type A mind. Her own health journey brings her a great deal of compassion and understanding for those that are seeking the personalized attention and support they have not yet received. Laura believes nourishing your family and yourself doesn’t need to be complicated or stressful, and can in fact be enjoyed.

Before joining the team at Culina Health, Laura worked in a concierge functional medicine clinic serving clients globally. She helped clients with an expanse of health concerns, seeking a non-traditional approach to healthcare. This experience gives her vast perspective and strategies when it comes to helping clients meet their individual health and wellness goals.

Counseling Style

Patient-centered, uplifting, and motivating. Laura’s goal is to give the power back to her patients when it comes to optimizing their health. Through tailored goal setting she aims to help others find peaceful and positive relationship with food, exercise and self-care.

Get to know Laura

In Laura’s spare time she enjoys adventuring with her husband and toddler in the White Mountains of New Hampshire. You can find her trying out new recipes in the kitchen, organizing (if you get it, you get it), reading or taking a break from the kitchen and enjoying dinner out.
