About Megan

Megan has been a registered dietitian for 11 years now, but don’t let that title fool you, she still loves a good chocolate chip cookie straight out of the oven any day. She calls herself an “anti-diet dietitian” meaning she doesn’t believe in restrictive plans, food rules, or “starting over on Monday.” She’d rather an individual make peace with food and their bodies while building small, sustainable habits that actually last. Her goal is to work with you as a teammate, supporting you every step of the way toward your unique health goals.

Her passion for this work is deeply personal. As a child she struggled with her weight, and in turn, struggled with chronic dieting. She originally became a dietitian because she thought since she was able to lose weight the healthy way, she could help others do the same. But after years of continuing the yo-yo of restrictive diets, she realized intuitive eating and truly making peace with food and one’s body was the answer to long-lasting health and freedom with food. She loves working with patients on healing their relationship with food and creating lasting changes they can maintain even when they’re 80-years-old!

She earned her Bachelor of Science in Dietetics and Graduate Certificate in Food and Nutrition from Bowling Green State University. When she’s not working with patients, you’ll usually find her spending time with her husband and many furry (and feathery!) family members, gardening, being outdoors, watching movies, or writing. She’s also a published author, currently working on romance fantasy stories because she firmly believes life needs both love and a little magic.
