Rachel grew up on a farm in South Carolina and started cooking from a young age. She has always been interested in the way food affects our health and is on a mission to prove that healthy eating can taste REALLY good! As a new graduate in the corporate world, cooking healthy meals became a way to destress after working long hours. After years of researching different health, wellness, and food trends in her spare time, she thought...why not make a career out of this? Rachel now helps clients find a balanced way of eating that doesn't involve restriction or crazy dieting. Her philosophy is simple: all foods can fit in a balanced diet.

Rachel completed her training at NYU Langone Medical Center and holds a masters degree in clinical nutrition from NYU. Additionally, she received her BA from the University of Virginia. Rachel has worked with hundreds of patients in the outpatient setting before deciding to move to private practice here at Culina. She specializes in IBD (Crohn's and Ulcerative Colitis) nutrition, GI disorders, prediabetes and diabetes management, women's health, intuitive eating, and culinary nutrition.

She lives in Atlanta, GA with her husband Jack and labradoodle Maggie. In her spare time, you can find her whipping something up in the kitchen, browsing for the latest healthy cook books, or laughing with Cody Rigsby on her Peloton.
