MS, RDN
When Elizabeth was a teenager, she enjoyed learning about nutrition but eventually began restricting her diet in an unhealthy way. She met with a dietitian who gave her some tough love and opened her eyes to her disordered eating habits. Once she healed from negative thought patterns, she wanted to help others understand food in a healthy way and to understand that all foods can fit! Through nutrition she found she could focus on several interests in one career– cooking, science, health, and helping others.
Patient-centered, empathetic, flexible. Elizabeth is an attentive listener who enjoys collaborating creatively with her patients to support them in their goals. Elizabeth helps patients break free from all-or-nothing thinking and see the lasting impact of small, sustainable behavior change.
Elizabeth’s ideal day starts with waking up early and enjoying a hot latte and a long walk with friends. It continues with an adventure with her husband and two children, after which she would try a new recipe (probably involving a lot of sauces!). This day would end with a glass of red wine and her favorite show.
