I decided to become an RD after learning how much of an impact what we eat can have on our health and how we feel. I also love talking about food! I enjoy helping people discover the eating habits and foods they genuinely enjoy that also help them feel their best. Over the years, I’ve worked in hospitals, hospital-based health centers, WIC offices, and nutrition education programs in child care centers, giving me a wide perspective on nutrition at every stage of life.
Go-to morning beverage: Water first then coffee about an hour and a half after waking 🙂
Favorite cultural dish or comfort food: Tamales, Thai curries, Pad See Ew, and more! I can’t pick just one lol
Fave nutrient-packed snack: Banana with walnuts
Nutrition philosophy in a nutshell: Nutrition is about finding foods that nourish our bodies and tastebuds in the balance that helps us feel our best.
