About Laurie

Laurie became a dietitian because knowing firsthand how confusing and frustrating nutrition can feel, she wanted to help others break free from that overwhelm. Nutrition isn’t one-size-fits-all, and her goal is to help patients figure out what works for them. It’s not about perfection; it’s about making choices that support health and happiness in a way that feels doable for life. Now, she gets to help others break free from dieting for good, and she wouldn’t trade that for anything!

Laurie believes nutrition should fit into your life—not the other way around. She understands how frustrating it feels to be stuck in the cycle of dieting, stressing about food, and letting the scale dictate your mood. That’s why her approach is all about meeting patients where they are and creating realistic, sustainable strategies that help them feel their best—without guilt or restriction. Laurie’s goal is to help her patients reach their health and wellness goals while also improving their relationship with food.

Laurie’s experience spans a variety of settings, including WIC, clinical inpatient care, and outpatient work at a diabetes and endocrinology clinic, where she led a weight management program. Laurie later transitioned into private practice, focusing on helping women achieve sustainable weight loss and improve their relationship with food.
