About Tanisa

During her first year of community college, Tanisa completed an introductory Nutrition course. This class impacted her so much that she decided to shift from studying nursing to nutrition. Growing up in a community where healthy eating wasn’t an everyday topic, Tanisa wanted to change the narrative. Throughout her time working as an RD, she has helped her patients incorporate cultural foods into their plans. Tanisa loves counseling patients through sustainable lifestyle change and has been doing it for 17 years!
