How did you get into nutrition?

What do you enjoy doing when you aren’t working?

How would you describe your counseling style?

My love for nutrition grew out of a passion for food and cooking, alongside a desire to help my family members manage their diabetes diagnoses. Additionally, after learning that Black and Brown women are disproportionately at risk of adverse birth outcomes, I felt called to support BIPOC individuals in their pre/postnatal nutrition journeys. Whether I’m working with patients to manage diabetes or promote a healthy pregnancy, I love helping diverse individuals incorporate familiar foods into their nutrition plans. My motto? You do not have to give up your traditional foods to eat a balanced diet!

I love trying new restaurants in New York City, listening to live music, and dancing.

I practice patient-centered, gentle nutrition with an emphasis on weight inclusivity. I’m all about collaboration – my goal is to work with my patients to create nutrition plans that feel true to them.

The best meal I ever had was at the restaurant Pujol in Mexico City. It was an out of body experience!
