About Cesar

Cesar’s interest in nutrition began as a teenager when he was diagnosed with obesity and other related medical conditions. At that time he became fascinated with the connection between food and health. As Cesar began studying nutrition he noticed nutrition-related health disparities in disadvantaged communities–his community–and felt driven to work to help improve health outcomes in these groups.
Cesar has over 9 years of experience working with underserved populations as a registered dietitian and nutrition manager. He has an array of experience working with patients of all ages and backgrounds, including prenatal, weight management, bariatric, diabetes, metabolic disease, and pediatric patients. He believes in the power of food to help his patients feel their best.

Counseling Style

Patient-driven with an emphasis on simplifying nutrition education to facilitate long-term success. Cesar meets patients where they are and encourages collaboration to find a sustainable approach that works best for them.
