Chandra credits her interest in food science to growing up in a small Midwestern farm community where farm-to-table was a way of life. After heading to college and falling off the health wagon, Chandra’s desire to have more energy, sleep better, and stay healthy motivated her to adopt healthier habits. Her interest in optimizing health through lifestyle modification – specifically diet – led her to pursue a Master’s in Nutrition and Dietetics. As a registered dietitian, she is passionate about helping others prevent disease and manage chronic health conditions.
Practical, flexible, and supportive. Chandra’s primary goal is to help people improve their relationship with food. She uses evidence-based research to help them navigate the abundance of nutrition information (and misinformation!) in the media. Utilizing a collaborative approach, Chandra helps create practical, sustainable goals that fit each client’s preferences, goals, and lifestyle.
Chandra enjoys exploring Florida’s many tourist traps, beach communities, and farmer’s markets in her free time. When the weather is disagreeable, she’s usually rearranging the furniture, working on a puzzle, or trying out a new recipe.
