Jason was always the kid who was teased on the playground for being overweight. In fact, he struggled to control weight fluctuations throughout childhood, only learning healthy eating habits during college. Through his personal experience, Jason learned the link between good nutrition and how we feel and perform.

Though he developed a love for nutrition early on, Jason spent the first decade of his career working in finance. Learning to balance the high-paced demands of his work schedule with a healthy lifestyle proved challenging, but Jason found immense joy in helping coworkers and friends to navigate similar challenges. As his burgeoning interest became a full-blown passion, Jason decided to change careers and become a dietitian to help others find that same balance, feel their best, and show up stronger in all parts of their lives.

Jason holds a Master’s degree in clinical nutrition from New York University. He completed his clinical training at University of Maryland Medical Center. Additionally, he holds a bachelor’s degree in economics from the University of Florida and an MBA from Emory University. As a dad, Jason loves to help families and their children develop healthy relationships with food, from starting solids through adolescence. He also specializes in men’s health and nutrition and sustainable weight loss.

He lives with his wife and their three young kids and borderdoodle in New York City. In his spare time, Jason loves to swing heavy kettlebells, bake challah with his kids, try new restaurants, and cheer on his beloved Florida Gators and New York Rangers.
