About Ruth

Ruth became a Registered Dietitian because of her desire to help individuals transform their health and wellness through lifestyle change. She is passionate about providing evidenced-based care to help clients feel confident in their food choices to reach their goals. Prior to joining Culina, Ruth was an active-duty Army Dietitian working with the military community. She has a diverse background working in critical care, inpatient hospitals, home health care and outpatient rehabilitation.

Counseling Style

Ruth’s counseling style is patient-centered and supportive. She always listens to what her patients need and helps them brainstorm individualized solutions to help them meet their goals. Ruth likes to focus on the whole person- her main focus is nutrition but she and her patients talk about mindfulness, sleep, and physical activity too.

Get to Know Ruth

In Ruth’s spare time, she makes it a priority to be outside. She especially loves going for long hikes in the Colorado mountains with her German shepherd mix dog, Duke. She also enjoys spending time with her family, traveling or reading.
