Brittney’s journey started as a biology/pre-med student, endlessly committed to understanding science and the nuances of the human body. After completing her bachelor’s at NYU, still committed to science and healthcare, she became the program coordinator in child and adolescent psychiatry. Brittney quickly found that food, eating and nutrition were common themes, pervading all ages and diagnoses. This was the beginning of her commitment to addressing the critical role nutrition plays in all aspects of health and health care. She switched gears - completing a Master’s in Clinical Nutrition at New York University and a rigorous clinical internship in nutrition at Duke University Hospital.

Brittney’s passion is using tangible connections and strategies to make nutrition science relatable. Her mantra is: “You have to eat every day for the rest of your life, why not keep it fun?” Brittney works to empower clients with the knowledge they need to take charge and feel confident in their food choices, while also maintaining a healthy relationship with food and culture. Her work in private practice also includes treatment of cardiovascular disease, pre-diabetes, sustainable weight management, nutrition/lifestyle support for stress, anxiety and depression and disordered eating behaviors.

In her spare time, Brittney does lots of walking (and cuddling) with her 2-year-old German Shepherd, Chance. She is a native Brooklynite, who loves all things New York – including food, fashion and catching a breeze on her stoop.
