Both of my grandmothers were cooks who passed on all they knew about food to my mother and then me. The more I cooked, the more interested I became in food’s ability to prevent and manage disease. Pursuing a career in nutrition, where I could fuse my culinary interests with my passion for health, was a no-brainer for me.
When I’m not working with patients, I’m exercising, shopping, or spending time in the kitchen. I love finding ways to tweak classic family recipes, making them even more nutrient-dense without compromising taste.
