Nutrition has been a part of Mary’s life for almost as long as she can remember. Mary herself began working with a dietitian at a young age, and grew up with a first-hand understanding of how food choices can impact both physical and mental health. While this experience stuck with Mary throughout life, it was later that she realized it could be used to help others as well. After hearing countless discussions regarding the difficulty of making “better food choices” while also eating foods that taste good, Mary decided to put her experience to use, and became a dietitian. As a dietitian, she hopes to help others understand for themselves how to eat food that makes them feel better and actually tastes good!

Mary completed her Dietetic Internship and Master's Degree in Clinical Nutrition at New York University. Prior to this, Mary completed her undergraduate degrees in Geology and Geophysics as well as Geological Engineering at the University of Wisconsin-Madison and spent 6 years working as a Geotechnical Engineer in NYC.

When it comes to nutrition, Mary specializes in disordered eating, diabetes (pre-diabetes, type 1 diabetes, type 2 diabetes), and cardiovascular disease.

In her spare time, Mary loves trying new hobbies- on any given day you can usually find her playing the ukulele, experimenting in the kitchen with a new recipe, or spending time outside hiking or running.
