How did you get into nutrition?

What do you enjoy doing when you aren’t working?

How would you describe your counseling style?

I saw a dietitian for the first time at a young age and quickly understood the very real impact that our food choices have on our health, not to mention the importance of a healthy relationship with food. After meeting with a few dietitians myself, I became more interested in nutrition as a career.

I’m happiest when I’m running or hiking with my dog, practicing yoga (I’m a certified yoga instructor), playing the ukulele or piano, and exploring new places. I’m also learning Spanish at the moment, but I’ve still got a ways to go…

Conversational and collaborative. I’m also all about research, so I’ll also give you as much science as you want in sessions!

This is often a result of skimping on meals earlier in the day. I help clients make every meal substantial, satisfying, and filling to get ahead of mindless grazing in the evening.

We also learn how to prepare balanced meals that support blood sugar control, which is important for managing cravings and overall health.
