How did you get into nutrition?

Weight management, gastrointestinal disorders, heart health, family nutrition, fertility, and pre- and postnatal nutrition

I’ve always viewed food as preventative medicine. Before becoming an RD, I worked as a food editor at Prevention Magazine. My goal with patients is always to make nutritious food taste good!

What do you enjoy doing when you’re not working?

How would you describe your counseling style?

My counseling style is prescriptive, empathetic, and flexible. I like to focus on what you CAN eat, not what you can't.

I enjoy doing yoga when I’m not working. I also like gardening- I wouldn’t say I have a green thumb, but I’m working on it! My guilty pleasure is reality TV, specifically in the form of design and organizing shows on Netflix.
