I have always been a distance runner and fitness enthusiast. As I was choosing a career path, becoming a Registered Dietitian was a natural fit to align with my passions and hobbies.

Grocery shopping tip: Shop after a meal with a list!

What’s one small thing someone can do today to work toward a balanced eating pattern/lifestyle? Plan your meals in advance. If you are going out for a meal – check out the menu ahead of time. If you are grocery shopping for home – make a plan for your week and shop with a list.

A habit you swear by: I like to wake up early most mornings and move my body in some way – a run, a peloton ride, lifting weights, or yoga. It sets a positive tone for my day and gets my energy and brain power flowing. After some movement and a protein and carb combo breakfast – I’m invincible!
